Extending your hair with hair weaves or hair extensions can eventually harm your real hair. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, with extended use, the weight of extensions can lead to a condition called traction alopecia, which causes natural hair to fall out. In contrast, lace wigs offer length without damage to your natural real hair or scalp. If you recently purchased in a lace wig, you may want to sew clips to the lace wig to ensure it remains securely attached to your natural hair. These clips are easy to sew on and help your lace wig attach to your head comfortably.
