Their are lots of human hair wig wearers consider the human hair wig they bought was made from synthetic hair, because the hair is too shine like synthetic hair, Most wigs contain a special coating on the hair fibers -- which makes the wigs last longer. However, the coating provides a shine that also makes the wig look unrealistic. You can remove the shine to give it a more authentic look.
Things needed:Sink full of warm water,1/2 cup vinegar,Mannequin head,Baby powder,Wig brush
Pour 1/2 cup of vinegar in a sink that is full of warm water. The vinegar acts as a natural softener and removes some of the coating on the fibers. Vinegar also removes excess dyes which helps prevent scalp irritation sometimes.
Place the human hair wig in the sink. Let the wig sit submerged in the water for about 15 minutes. You may see white particles rise to the surface -- this is the coating on the hair.
Drain the sink. Rinse the wig with water in the drained sink!
Brush the human hair wig gently with the wig brush to remove any tangles that may be present occasionally.
Place the human hair wig on the mannequin head and allow to air dry. This may take several hours, depend on air temperater condition.
When the human hair wig is completely dry add a pinch of baby powder to your hands and apply to the wig while finger combing. This will mask the last bit of shine, making the wig look more natural like your own hair.this is a silky straight color 2 human hair wig below:
Brush the human hair wig again with the wig brush and shake out the excess powder with your hands. If you can tell there is powder on the wig you have used too much and will need to repeat this step until the natural color of the wig remains like before.
