Steps to wash lace wigs:
1) Detangling Comb step:
Remove all glue and adhesive from the lace and comb out any tangles with a detangling comb before you put the lace wig in water. Be sure to comb out all tangles from the tips to the ends of the hair so you can manage it much easier when dried completely!

2) Fill the sink half full of water and add a cup full of wig shampoo to the water. Make sure you use shampoo that is especially formulated for human hair lace wigs. The water should be cool, avoid to use hot water on lace wigs!

3)Soak your full lace wig or lace front wig into the water and handle it carefully so you won't damage the lace base. Gently move it around in the water, then lift it up. Make sure all of the hair is falling in one direction, then dip it up and down in the water a few times to flood it with the shampoo and water. Let it soak for a few minutes then rinse all of the shampoo out of it. If you have a sprayer on your sink use it, otherwise, you can use a light to moderate stream of water to rinse the lace wig unit.

4)Now you're ready to condition the full lace wig or lace front wig. If you have a double sink, fill the opposite side half full with water. If you have a single sink, drain all of the dirty water and refill it half full with water. Add a cap full of wig conditioner to cool water and mix the conditioner in the water.

5)Soak the lace wig into the water and let it sit. The length of time you should let it sit is based on the type of wig you have and the amount of glue and adhesive buildup on the lace. Typically, you'll need to let curly and wavy lace wigs sit a little longer than straight units.

6)Gently move the lace wig in and out of the cool water. Remove it from the sink, place it on a flat towel, fold part of the towel over the lace wig and gently pat the wig dry. Optional: Spray on a leave in conditioner for lace wigs and pat the wig dry with the towel!

7)Let the lace wig air dry by placing it on a wig head. Gently pin it at the front edge in the middle of the wig with a T-pin to hold it in place. Be careful with the pin on the lace. Let it dry outside with slight wind or inside with or without a fan.
