How to Remove Shine Make Human Hair Weave Extensions Less Shiny
Hair less shiny is more like real human hair.Lots of buys like hair weaves hair extensions,sometimes they consider the shiny hair was made from synthetic hair,because the hair is too shine like synthetic hair.you can remove shine easily.Most human hair from factory were contain a special coating on the hair fibers -- which makes the hair weave extensions last longer. However,the coating provides a shine that also makes the hair look unrealistic. You can remove the shine to make hair more realistic looking.
Things needed:Sink full of warm water,1/2 cup vinegar,wig holder,Baby powder,wide tooth brush
Pour 1/2 cup of vinegar in a sink that is full of warm water. The vinegar acts as a natural softener and removes some of the coating on the fibers. Vinegar also removes excess dyes which helps prevent scalp irritation sometimes.
Place the human hair weave extensions in the sink. Let the hair sit submerged in the water for about 15 minutes. You may see white particles rise to the surface -- this is the coating on the hair.
Drain the sink. Rinse the hair weaves with water in the drained sink!
Gently brush the human hair weaves with the wide tooth brush to remove any little tangles that may be appear on the hair.
Pin the human hair weave extensions on the wig holder and allow it air dry completely. This may take several hours,depend on air temperater condition.
When the hair weaves is completely dry add a pinch of baby powder to your hands and apply to the hair while finger combing. This will mask the last bit of shine,making the hair look more natural like real human hair.
Brush the hair weave again with the wig brush and shake out the excess powder with your hands. If you can tell there is powder on the hair you have used too much and will need to repeat this step until you are satisfied with hair extensions.
