How to Blend a Lace Front Wig with Makeup

Everybody has a skin tone different to others,when wear a human hair lace front wig,only few lace color at front available. make the wig a part of your makeup routine can achieve nature looking results. Take the time to blend in the lace of your wig to help mask the hairline of your lace front wig.

Apply makeup as usually you would do,powder over the lace with a brush and blend in gently. The same powder you use on your face can help hide the lace applied on your scalp.

After a moment,the makeup will darken the lace color of the wig. you should clean the wig lace once everyweek, but that is a quick and easy way. Just place a folded up cleaning cloth right under the lace, pat with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. The alcohol can release makeup on the lace,so the cloth can absorb it. the alcohol can only be applied on the lace and not stain on hair,it's better to hand paint color to fade.

Comb your natural hair backside from your face with a wide-tooth comb.Tame any stray hairs with a brush.

Use a wig cap to cover your natural hair,then place the lace front wig on a wig stand.

Style the lace wig into a ponytail hairstyle and secure with ponytail holders.

Remove the lace front wig from the wig stand.Cut the visible excess lace out of front hairline with a pair of scissors. Cut as close as possible to the hairline without actually cutting hair strands into the hairline.

Pat with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol across your forehead from ear to ear. This can remove oil from your forehead for proper blending and application effect. The alcohol can dry after 3 minutes.
